    ٣٦٦٧ - الشيخ الفاضل علي بن الحسين بن محمد البلخى السَّكِلِكَنْدِي * *ذكره الحافظ عبد القادر القرشي في "الجواهر المضية"، وقال: سكن "دمشق". تفقّه بـ"بخارى" على الإمام عبد العزيز بن عمر ابن مازه. وروى الحديث بـ"دمشق" عن أبي المعين المكحولي. قال السمعاني: لقيته بـ"دمشق"، وكان له يد قوية في النظر، وكان مشتغلا بنشر العلم، وكان فقيها، فاضلا، زاهدا. توفي بـ"حلب" سنة سبع وأربعين وخمسمائة (¬١). والسكلكندي (¬٢) بكسر السين المهملة، واللام بين الكافين، أولاهما بالكسر، والثانية بالفتح، وسكون النون، وفي آخرها الدال المهملة، نسبة إلى "سكلكند"، وهي من من نواحي "طخارستان"، وهي بليدة من ناحية (¬٣) "بلخ". * * *
