٣٥٩٤ - الشيخ الفاضل عظمة علي الرمضانبوري، البهاري،أحد العلماء الصالحين *. ذكره صاحب "نزهة الخواطر"، وقال: ولد، ونشأ بقرية "رمضانبُور"، وأخذ العلم على مولانا شعيب الحق البهاري. وقرأ عليه أكثر الكتب الدرسية، وترك بعضها، ثم عكف على مطالعة الكتب، حتى برع في العلم، وولي التدريس في المدرسة العالية بـ "كلكته"، فدرّس بها مدّة طويلة، ثم بعث إلى "نِيْبَال"، فأقام بها زمانا، ومرض، فعاد إلى "الهند". مات ببلدة "بنارس" (¬١)، سنة ستين ومائتين وألف، كما في "تاريخ رمضانبور". * * *
