    ٣٤٨٣ - الشيخ الصالح عبيد اللَّه بن قدرة اللَّه الملتاني،أحد المشايخ الجشتية (¬١) * ذكره صاحب "نزهة الخواطر"، وقال: ولد، نشأ بـ "الملتان". وقرأ العلم على والده، ثم أخذ عن المولوي غُلْ محمد، وقرأ عليه سائر الكتب الدرسية. ودرّس، وأفاد مدّة طويلة بمدينة "مُلْتَان". ثم أخذ الطريقة عن الشيخ خدا بخش الخير بوري، وتولّى الشياخة بعده، أخذ عنه خلق كثير من العلماء والمشايخ. وكان شيخا جليلا، مهابا، رفيع القدر، كبير المنزلة، عظيم الورع والعزيمة. له مصنّفات عديدة. توفي يوم الجمعة لستّ خلون من جمادى الأولى سنة خمس وثلاثمائة وألف بمدينة "ملتان". * * *
