    ٣١١٠ - الشيخ الفاضل القارئ عبد الغفور بن الشيخ أشرف علي الكُمِلائي * ولد سنة ١٢٩٩ هـ في قرية "راجه بور" من مضافات "برورا" من أعمال "كُمِلا" من أرض "بنغلاديش". قرأ مبادئ العلم في قريته، ثم التحق بدار العلوم برورا، وقرأ على الشيخ القارئ عبد القادر علم القراءة والتجويد، وقرأ فيها إلى "مشكاة المصابيح"، و"تفسير الجلالين" المحلّي والسيوطي، ثم فرغ منها. وبعد الفراغ التحق بمدرسة جَشْبُور، ثم بعد سنين التحق بدار العلوم برورا، ودرّس فيها إلى أن توفّاه الله تعالى سنة ١٣٦٦ هـ، وعمره إذ ذاك خمس وستون سنة.ودفن بعد أن صلّي جنازته في مقبرة آبائه. * * *
