    ٣٠٧٩ - الشيخ الفاضل عبد العزيز الرُّومِيّ، حَفيدُ الموْلَى المشهور بأمِّ وَلَد * ذكره التميمي في "طبقاته"، وقال: قرأ على فَضَلاء تلك الدِّيار. ودَرَّس بعِدَّة مدارسَ. وَوَلَيَ القضاءَ بعِدَّة بلادٍ، منها مدينة "حلَب"، ثم صار مُدَرِّسًا ومُفْتيًا بـ "مدينة أماسِيَة"، ثم ترك التَّدريس، وعُيِّن له كلَّ يوم سبعون درهما عُثْمانِيًّا بطريق التَّقاعُد. وتُوُفّيَ في حُدود خمسين وتسْعمائة. وكان من خيار الناس، عِلْما وعَمَلا، لا يذْكُرُ أحَدًا بسوءٍ. رحمه الله تعالى. وسيأتي ابنُه على جلَبي في مَحَلِّه، إن شاء الله تعالى. * * *
