    ٢٩٩٦ - الشيخ الصالح عبد السّلام بن نظام الدين بن عثمان بن عبد الكبير بن عبد القدّوس الكنكوهي، ثم الباني بتي، المشهور بالشيخ أعلى * * ذكره صاحب "نزهة الخواطر"، وقال: ولد، ونشأ بمدينة "باني بت"، وأخذ عن أبيه، ثم عن الشيخ نظام الدين إله داد النارنولي، ولازمه زمانا، ثم تصدّر للإرشاد، أخذ عنه غير واحد من المشايخ. توفي سنة ثلاث وثلاثين وألف بـ "باني بت"، فدفن بها، كما في "خزينة الأصفياء". * * *
