    ٢٨٩٨ - الشيخ الفاضل مولانا عبد الرحمن المومنشاهوي * * ولد سنة ١٢٩٥ هـ في قرية "غوناري تلا" من مضافات "جَنْغَالِيَه" من أعمال"مؤمنشاهي".قرأ مبادئ العلم في قريته، ثم سافر إلى "سهارنبور" والتحق بمظاهر العلوم، وقرأ فيها الفنون العالية وكتب الصحاح الستة وغيرها من الكتب الحديثية، وحصلت له الإجازة في رواية الحديث من السيّد نذير حسين الدهلوي، ثم رجع إلى وطنه المألوف، واشتغل بالدعوة والتبليغ والإرشاد والتلقين. صنّف عدّة كتب في اللغة البنغالية. توفي سنة ١٣٤٨ هـ. * * *
