    ٢٣١٧ - الشيخ الفاضل صالح بن قاسم بن أحمد بن أسعد بن محمد بن الفضل اليَمانِيّ الصَّنْعانِيّ، ويُعْرَف بالشيخ صالح * *ذكره التميمى في "طبقاته"، وقال: وُلِد في سنة ثلاث وثلاثين وثمانمائة، بمخْلاف "صَنْعاءَ". وحَفِظَ القرآن الكريم، وغيرَه، واشْتغل هُناك قليلا في الفقه، والعربية، وأصول الدين. ثم ارْتحل في سنة ثلاث وخمسين، وحجَّ وجاوَر، ثم كب البحر إلى "القاهرة"، فدخلها في رمضان، سنة خمس وخمسين، فلازَم التَّقِيَّ الشَّمُنِّي في الفقه والعربية، وكان مما أخذه عنه "حاشيته" للمُغنى، و"شرحه" للنِّقاية، وكتبهما بخطِّه. وكذا أخذ المنطق، المعانِيَ، والبيان، وأصول الدين، وغيرها عن التَّقِيّ الحِصْنِيّ. * * *
