٢٢٤٠ - الشيخ الفاضل المولى شفيق الحق بن مولانا محمد إبراهيم السلهتي* *. ولد ٣٣٥١ هـ في "غاسْباري" من مضافات "كَنَائ غَاتْ" من أعمال "سلهت". قرأ مبادئ العلم في "غاسْباري"، ثم التحق بالمدرسة العالية بـ"سلهت"، وأكمل فيها الدراسة العليا، ثم سافر إلى دار العلوم ديوبند، والتحق بها، وقرأ فيها كتب الحديث مرّة ثانية. ومن شيوخها: شيخ الإسلام السيّد حسين أحمد المدني، وغيرهم من المحدّثين.وبعد إتمام الدراسة وَصَل إلى وطنه، ودرّس في مدرسة غاسْباري، ثم التحق سنة ١٣٧٣ هـ بدار العلوم كَنَائ غَات. * * *
