    ٢٠٣٦ - الشيخ الفاضل سعد بن خليل بن سليمان، الرُّومِيّ، الْمرْزُبانِيّ، الشيخ سعد الدين، خازن الكتب بـ "الشَّيْخُونيّة" (¬١)، والخادم الكبير بها *. ذكره التميمي في "طبقاته" فقال: كان عالما، بارعا، فاضلا، علامة في الفقه والعربيَّة، وغيرهما. قرأ عليه الشيخ ركن الدين، عمر بن قَديد (¬٢)، وغيره، ونقَل عنه أبحاثا في "تعاليقه"وله تصانيف في التصريف، وغيره. مات قَتيلا بمدرسة "رَسْلان" بـ "المِنْشِيَّة"، قَتَله اللُّصوص بسكِّين في بطنه، في حُدود سنة أربعَ عشرةَ وثمانمائة، رحمه الله تعالى. * * *
