١٩٥٤ - الشيخ الفاضل روشن علي بن نذر علي الجونبوري،أحد العلماء المبرّزين في الفنون الرياضية * ولد، ونشأ بمدينة "جونبور". وقرأ العلم على أساتذة عصره، ثم ولي التدريس في المدرسة العالية بـ "كلكته"، فقرأ عليه خلق كثير من العلماء. وله مصنّفات عديدة، منها: رسالة في الجبر والمقابلة، ومنها شرح بسيط على "خلاصة الحساب" للعاملي، ومنها: شرح على "مقامات الحريري"، ومنها: شرح على "كافية ابن الحاجب"، أكثرها بالفارسي، وله غير ذلك من الرسائل، وكان جدّ الشيخ سخاوة علي الجونبوري من جهة الأمّ، كما في "تجلّي نور". * * *
