    ١٨٨٤ - الشيخ العالم الفقيه رحمة اللَّه الإله آبادي *. أحد العلماء المذكورين.كان مكفوف البصر، مكشوف البصيرة، ويقتفي آثار السلف الصالح، ولا يتقيّد برسوم المشايخ، ويذكّر يوم الجمعة في الجامع الكبير بمدينة "إله آباد"، وكان أفتى بحرمة الخروج على الإنكليز في أيام الثورة، مع تخويف الثوار وترهيبهم له بالفتك والنهب، فكافأتْه الحكومة الإنكليزيه بعد تسلّطها على "الهند" بأربعة قرى بناحية "إله آباد"، فعاش في رفاهة، وتزوّج بأربع نسوة. مات سنة ثلاث وتسعين ومائتين وألف. كما في "مهر جهانتاب". * * *
