١٨٥٩ - الشيخ الفاضل ذو الْفَوْز بن أحمد بن يوسف السرمارِي، نزيل "عَيْنَتَاب" (¬١)، المعروف بالفقيه * *.أخذ عن مشايخ "أذربيجان"، وديار بكر"، وغيرهم. وقدم "عينتاب"، فأقام بها يشغل الطلبة. وشرح "مُقدمة أبي الليث"، و"قصيدة البُستي" (¬١). وتصدّر بجامع النجّار، يحوار ميدان "عينتاب". وكان آمرًا بالمعروف، ناهيًا عن المنكر، مُشددًا في ذلك، إلى أن مات في رمضان، سنة سبع وسبعين وستمائة. كذا ذكره في "الغُرف العلية"، نقلًا عن "تاريخ العيني"، رحمه اللَّه تعالى. * * *
