    ١٨١٨ - الشيخ الفاضل داود بن عثمان بن يعقوب، الملقب شهاب الدين الرومي * *. تفقّه، ودرّس بالطغجية (¬١) بـ "القاهرة"، خارج باب زُويلة، وهو أول من درس بها، ثم ظهر بعد ذلك كتاب يدل على أن الواقف كان ملك لابنته ما أوقفه، فبطل الدرس من ذلك اليوم، وأعاد بـ "المنصورية".حجّ، ورجعِ متضعّفًا، فمات في المحرّم، سنة خمس وسبعمائة، رحمه اللَّه تعالى. * * *
