    ١٨١٢ - الشيخ الفاضل داود بن أرسلان بن غازي، القاضي شرف الدين أبو المظفّر * *.مولده بـ "دمشق"، سنة سبعين. تفقّه على بُرهان الدين مسعود بن شُجاع أبي الموفق. قال ابن العديم: كان فقيهًا فاضلًا، مُتميزًا، صالحًا، يُنظم الشعر. مات بـ "دمشق"، في الثامن والعشرين، من جمادى الأولى، سنة تسع وثلاثين وستمائة. وكذا ذكره الحافظ المنذري، في "وفيات النقلة". واللَّه تعالى أعلم. * * *
