    ١٧٦٩ - الشيخ الفاضل خليل بن عيسى بن عبد اللَّه خيرُ الدين العجمي * *.ولي قضاء "القُدس" من برقوق، سنة أربع وثمانين وسبعمائة، وهو أوله من ولي قضاء الحنفية بـ "القدس" الشريف، وكانت سيرته حسنة، وطريقته مشكورة، ثم ولي تدريس المِعظّمية. وكانت وفاته بـ "القدس" الشريف، في صفر، سنة إحدى وثمانمائة، سُقي السمّ مع بكلمش، وشمس الدين الديري، بالمدرسة البلدية، فمات هو وبكلمش، وأما الشمس الديري فلم يُكثر، فمرض طويلًا، وعُوفي (¬١)، وكان شهاب الدين ابن النقيب حاضرًا، فاعتذر بالصوم وسلم، رحمهم اللَّه تعالى.
