    ١٧٦٦ - الشيخ الفاضل الخليل بن علي بن الحسين بن علي، الملقّب نجم الدين قاضي العسكر، الحَمَوي * *. ولي قضاء العسكر للملك العادل أبي بكر بن أيوب، بعد الستمائة.قدم "دمشق"، وتفقّه بها، وخدم المعظّم وأرسله، ودرس في "دمشق" بـ "الريحانية" (¬١)، وناب عن الرفيع (¬٢) في القضاء. وتوفي في شهر ربيع الأول، سنة إحدى وأربعين وستمائة، ودُفن بـ "قاسيون". وسيأتي ابنه على في بابه، إن شاء اللَّه تعالى. * * *
