    ١٧٤٨ - الشيخ الفاضل خليفة بن سليمان بن خليفة بن محمد القُرشي، أبو السرايا الخوارزمي الأصل، الحلَبي المولد والدار *. مولده سنة ستّ وستين وخمسمائة، وقيل: سنة خمس، وقال ابن العديم: إنه كتب بخطّه في إجازة بأن مولده سنة ثلاث وخمسين.قرأ الفقه بـ "حلب" على الإمام علاء الدين أبي بكر بن مسعود الكاشاني (¬١)، صاحب "البدائع"، ورحل إلى بلاد العجم، وتفقّه بها على جماعة، منهم: الصفي الأصفهاني، صاحب الطريقة. مات، رحمه اللَّه تعالى، ثالث عشري شوّال، سنة ثمان وثلاثين وستمائة بـ "حلب"، ودُفن بجبّانة مقام إبراهيم الخليل، صلّى اللَّه وسلّم عليه، خارج "باب العراق". * * *
