١٧٤٥ - الشيخ الفاضل خلفُ بن عبد الرحمن بن أحمد بن محمد، أبو المظفّر الخوارزمي المولد، ثم المكّي * *. ولد في سنة أربع وخمسمائة (¬٢)، وورد "مرو"، وتفقّه بها على أبي الفضل عبد الرحمن الكرماني. قال ابن النجّار: قدم "بغداد" حاجًا، سنة ستين وخمسمائة، وحدّث بها.وذكر عن أبي سعد أنه لقيه بـ "خوارزم"، وأنه قدم عليه "مرو"، سنة إحدى وستين، فعقد المجلس في الجامع، وأنه حضر مجلسه. قال أبو سعد: وكان كثير النكت والفوائد. قال الذهبي: ذكر القاضي عُمر بن علي الدُّبَيثي، أنه قدم "بغداد" سنة أربع وستين وخمسمائة. * * *
