١٧٤٠ - الشيخ الفاضل المحدث خلفُ بن أحمد بن الفضل بن جعفر بن يعقوب بن إبراهيمأبو القاسم التميمي الحوفي *. سمع بـ "مصر" من الحافظ عبد الغني، وغيره. وذكره قُطب الدين في "تاريخ مصر"، والذهبي في "تاريخ الإسلام"، وقال: مات سنة خمس وخمسين وأربعمائة، وقال: ليس هو بالحوفي صاحب "الإعراب". قال في "الجواهر": قلت الحوفي صاحب "الإعراب" اسمه علي بن إبراهيم بن سعيد (¬١). * * *
