    ١٦٧٥ - الشيخ الفاضل حميد الدين بن أفضل الدين الحسيني *. قرأ على والده، ثم على المولى يكان، وأكثر. ثم صار مدرّسًا بمرادية "بروسة"، ثم بإحدى المدارس الثمان، ثم ولي قضاء "قسطنطينية"، ثم صار مفتيًا بها في أيام السلطان بايزيد، ومات وهو مفتٍ بها، في سنة ثمان وتسعمائة. وكان كثير المحفوظ، حليمًا عند الغضب، عالمًا عاملًا. وله مؤلّفات مقبولة، منها: "حواش على شرح الطوالع" للأصبهاني، و"حواش على حاشية شرح المختصر" للسيّد الشريف، وله "أجوبة" عن اعتراضات كثيرة في "شرح الهداية" للشيخ أكمل الدين، كتبها وهو مدرّس بمرادية "بروسة". واللَّه تعالى أعلم. * * *
