    ١٦٧٢ - الشيخ الفاضل العالم الرباني حمزة القرماني، رحمه اللَّه تعالى *. كان من أفضل دهره، وأماثل عصره، ودأب وحصَّل، وانتفع الناس به في التدريس والفتوى، وصنّف حواشي على "تفسير العلامة البيضاوي". مات في أوائل المائة التاسعة (¬١)، تغمّده اللَّه تعالى برحمته.قلت: أرّخْ صاحب "كشف الظنون" وفاته سنة إحدى وسبعين وثمانمائة، حيث قال عند ذكر حواشي "تفسير البيضاوي"، و"حاشية العالم الفاضل نور الدين" حمزة القراماني المتوفى سنة إحدى وسبعين وثمانمائة، وهي على الزهراوين، سماها "تفسير التفسير"، انتهى. * * *
