    ١٦٦٤ - الشيخ المحدّث الفقيه حمد بن محمد بن حمدون بن مِرْداس البوزجاني *. تفقّه بـ "بلخ" على أبي القاسم الصفّار، ثم سكن بـ "نيسابور" خمسين سنة إلى أن مات بها. سمع عبد اللَّه بن محمد بن طرخان البلخي، وأبا العبّاس الدَّغَوْلي، وغيرهما. وسمع منه الحكم أبو عبد اللَّه. مات، رحمه اللَّه تعالى، في ذي القعدة، سنة ستّ وثمانين وثلاثمائة. والبوزجاني، بضم الباء الموحّدة وسكون الزاي بعد الواو وفتح الجيم وفي آخرها النون. نسبة إلى "بوزجان"، قرية بين "هَرَاة" و"نيسابور"، من بلاد "خراسان". * * *
