١٦٢٤ - الشيخ العالم الفقيه حسين بخش بن مير محمد بن كاشف بن خليل الرحمن ابنعبد الرحمن العلوي الكاكوروي، أحد العلماء الصالحين *. ولد سنة ثلاث ومائتين وألف بـ "كاكوري"، وقرأ العلم على ابن عمّه الشيخ حماية علي العلوى الكاكرروي، وتخرّج عليه، ثم أخذ الطريقة القلندرية عن أبيه، وخدم الدولة الإنكليزية مدّة، ثم اعتزل، واشتغل بالتدريس والتصنيف. له مصنّفات عديدة، منها: "نفحة الهند" فى الأدب، و"الآثار الباقية" في علم الأعداد، و"اختلاف البصريين والكوفيين" في النحو، و"ضروريات الأباء" في البديع. توفي لليلة بقيتْ من جمادى الأولى سنة ثمان وخمسين ومائتين وألف ببلدة "إثاوه"، فدفن بها في بيته. * * *
