    ١٦٠١ - الشيخ الفاضل الحسين بن محمد بن أسعد، الفقيه المعروف بالنجم *. تفقّه على أبيه، وسمع منه الحديث. قال ابن العديم: ولي التدريس بالحلاوية. وله تصانيف في الفقه، منها: "شرح الجامع الصغير" لمحمد بن الحسن، فرغ من تصنيفه بـ "مكّة"، شرّفها اللَّه تعالى، وله "الفتاوى والواقعات". وكان فقيهًا فاضلًا، عالمًا متدينًا. وحكى عنه حكاية طويلة في حُضوره عند نور الدين ابن زنكي، وقد سأله عن لبس خاتم في يده كان فيه لوزاتٌ من ذهب، فقال له: تتحرّر من هذا، وتحمل إلى خزانتك من المال الحرام في كلّ يوم كذا وكذا!!. وأن نور الدين أمر بتبطيل ذلك. توفي سنة ٥٨٠ هـ تقريبا (¬١). * * *
