١٤٥٤ - الشيخ العالم الصالح حسن بن داود البنارسي (¬١)، أحد كبار المشايخ الجشتية*. قرأ العلم على عمّه الشيخ فريد بن قطب البنارسي، ودرّس مدّة من الزمان، ثم أخذ الطريقة الجشتية عنه، وألزم نفسَه حفظ الأنفاس ومجاهدة النفس، حتى أنه كان يفطر على خبز الشعير في كلّ أسبوع، ولم يكن يأكل أكثر من عشرين مثقالا. وله مصنّفات في الصرف والنحو، منها: "مرغوب الطالبين" في الصرف، وسافر إلى أرض "الحجاز" للحجّ والزيارة، فأغار على فلكه القرصان، وقتلوه في رابع ربيع الأول سنة ستين وتسعمائة، كما في "كنج أرشدي".
