    ١٢٧٠ - الشيخ العالم الفقيه جان محمد اللاهوري، أحد الأفاضل المشهورين * *. ولد سنة ثلاث وتسعين ومائة وألف. وقرأ العلم على أساتذة عصره، ثم تصدّر للتدريس. وكانتْ له اليد الطولى في الرقية والتكسير.ومن مصنّفاته: "زبدة التفاسير" في ثمانين كرّاسة، وله رسالة في إثبات الخلافة لمعاوية ﵁، ورسالة في العقائد، ورسالة في الردّ علي الشيعة، وشرح على "قصيدة البردة"، وشرح على "بدء الأمالي"، ورسالة في المعراج، ورسالة في حرمة التتن، ورسالة في عدم فرضية صلاة الجمعة في هذه البلاد. مات يوم عاشوراء سنة ثمان وستين ومائتين وألف، كما في "حدائق الحنفية". * * *
