١٢٦٨ - الشيخ الفاضل جان محمد اللاهوري، أحد العلماء المبرّزين في الفقه والأصول * *. ولد، ونشأ بـ "لاهور"، وقرأ العلم على الشيخ عبد الحميد، ومولانا تيمور، ثم لازم الشيخ إسماعيل اللاهوري، وأخذ الحديث عنه، واشتغل عليه بالمذاكرة يوم الاثنين والجمعة من كلّ أسبوع، واستقام على ذلك إلى وفاة الشيخ المذكور.مات سنة عشرين ومائة وألف بـ "لاهور"، فدفن بـ "برويز آبادا"، ثم نقل جسدُه إلى مقبرة الشيخ إسماعيل، كما في "حدائق الحنفية". * * *
