    ١٢٦٦ - الشيخ الفاضل جان الله الصوفي، اللاهوري، أحد الرجال المعروفين بالفضل والصلاح". قرأ العلم على أساتذة "لاهور"، ودرّس بها مدّة من الزمان، ثم أخذ الطريقة الجشتية عن الشيخ نظام الدين التهانيسري، ولازمه زمانا، وسافر معه إلى الحرمين الشريفين، فحجّ، وزار، ثم سار معه إلى "بلخ"، ورجع إلى "الهند"، وكان صاحب كشوف وكرامات.توفي في تاسع جمادى الأخرى سنة تسع وثلاثين وألف، كما في "خزينة الأصفياء". * * *
