    ١٢٥٧ - الشيخ الفاضل ثناء الله بن الحافظ عبد الصمد بن الحاج أشرف علي * *.ولد سنة ١٣٧٩ هـ. قرأ الدراسة الابتدائية في قريته، ثم حفظ القرآن عند الحافظ عبد السلام، والحافظ مبشّر، وختم في سنة ١٣٩٢ هـ. قرأ مدّة في مفتاح العلوم بـ "جاندفور"، ثم سافر إلى "داكا"، والتحق بالمدرسة النورية أشرف آباد، ثم التحق بالجامعة اليونسية، وقرأ فيها ثماني سنين، وأكمل الدراسة العليا فيها. درس في الجامعة القرآنية لالباغ، ومن أساتذته: العلامة سراج الإسلام، والمفتي نور الله، وغيرهما. توفي ١٤٢٨ هـ، ودفن في مقبرة آبائه. * * *
