١١٢٨ - الشيخ الفاضل بركة الله السورتي، أحد العلماء المبرّزين في الفقه والأصول والعربية * *. قرأ بعض الكتب الدارسيّة على مولانا فضل الرحمن الحنفي البندوي، وبعضها على العلامة واجد علي البنارسي نزيل "بردوان". وأخذ الفقه والحديث عن الشيخ محمد سعيد بن واعظ علي العظيم آبادي، ثم أخذ عنه الطريقة.وسافر إلى الحرمين الشريفين، فحجّ، وزار، ورجع إلى "الهند"، وسكن بمدينة "سورت". وكان يدرّس، ويفيد. أخذ عنه غير واحد من العلماء. * * *
