١١٢١ - الشيخ الفاضل بردل -بضم الباء العجمية- الكابلي، كان من مشاهير العلماء *. ولد، ونشأ بحدود "أفغانستان". وسافر للعلم، فقدم "الهند"، وقرأ على المفتي لطف الله بن أسد الله البلكهني الكوئلي، وعلى غيره من العلماء، ثم دخل "رامبور"، وتزوّج بها، ودرّس زمانا ثم سافر إلي "طوك" وولي التدريس في المدرسة الخليلية بها فدرس بها مدّة. ثم أخرجه أمير "الطوك" لخلاف وقع بينه وبين الحكيم بركات أحمد، فسار إلى "دهلي"، وولي التدريس في "المدرسة النعمانية"، فدرّس بها إلى آخر عمره.وكان عالما بارعا في الفقه والأصول والكلام والمنطق. أخذ عنه غير واحد من العلماء. مات في رمضان سنة تسع وثلاثين وثلاثمائة وألف. * * *
