    ١٠٤٥ - الشيخ الفاضل أمين الدين السِّلْهِتي، المعروف بشيخ كاتِيَا *. ولد بقرية "جعنَّات بور" من مضافات "سِلْهِتْ". قرأ بسم الله على شيخ الإسلام السيّد حسين أحمد المدني، ثم ارتحل إلى دار العلوم "ديوبند"، وختم الدراسة العليا فيها، ومن شيوخه فيها: الشيخ السيّد حسين أحمد المدني. وبنى بعد الفراغ بإشارة شيخه جامعة إسلامية في قريته "كاتيا". توفي سنة ١٤٣١ هـ، وحضر في صلاة جنازته خمسمائة ألف.
