٨٣٦ - الشيخ الفاضل إسرائيل بن يونس بن أبي إسحاق عمرو بن عبد الله السبيعي، الكوفي *. سمع من أبي حنيفة، ومن جدّه أبي إسحاق. قال: كنت أحفظ حديث أبي إسحاق (¬١)، كما أحفظ السورة من القرآن، وكان يقول: نعم الرجل النعمان، فقهه (¬٢) عن حمّاد، وناهيك به.روى عنه وكيع، وابن مهدي، ووثّقه أحمد، ويحيى، وروى له الشيخان. ومات سنة ستين ومائة. وقيل: إحدى وستين. وكانت ولادته في آخر المائة الأولى، وكان من خيار الناس (¬١)، رحمه الله تعالى. * * *
