٧٢٤ - الشيخ الفاضل أحمد جودت بن إسماعيل بن علي بن أحمد آغا *. وزير تركي، عالم مشارك في كثير من العلوم. ولد سنة ١٢٣٨ هـ في مدينة "لوفجة" التابعة لـ "ولاية الطونة"، ثم سافر إلى "القسطنطينية"، وتلقّى العلوم الدينية والعربية، ثم درّس القضاء. وتولى الصدارة موقّتا، ثم عين ناظرا للعدلية. وتوفي سنة ١٣١٢ هـ بـ "القسطنطينية" في ذي الحجّة. من مؤلّفاته: "خلاصة البيان" في القرآن، و"تعليمات على أوائل المطوّل"، و"تعليقات على الشافعية"، "تعليقات على البناء"، و"تعليقات على نتائج الأفكار".
