٦٢٦ - الشيخ الفاضل أحمد بن محمود بن محمد بن عبد الله القَيْسَري،العلامة، صدر الدين، ابن العجمي *. قال ابن حجر: كان بارعًا، فاضلًا، نحويًا، فقيهًا، متفنّنًا في علوم كثيرة، معروفًا بالذكاء، وحسن التصوّر، وجودة الفهم. ولي الحِسْبَة مرارًا، ونظر الجوالي، ودرّس بعدّة مدارس، وولي مشيخة "الشيخونية". وكان مولده سنة سبع وسبعين وسبعمائة. ومات بالطاعون يوم السبت رابع عشر شهر رجب، سنة ثلاث وثلاثين وثمانمائة، رحمه الله تعالى. * * *
