٥١٣ - الشيخ الفاضل أحمد بن محمد بن داود أبي الفهم القحطاني، التنوخي * *. أخو القاضي أبي القاسم علي محمد بن أبي الفهم. تفقّه على أبي الحسن الكرخي. وقرأ "أدب القاضي" عليه، وعلَّقه عنه بـ "بغداد".ثم سار (¬١) إلى أخيه، في سنة سبع عشرة وثلاثمائة، وهو بـ "البصرة"، فاستنابه بـ "تستر" (¬٢) وأعمالها، فأقام بها. وكان من أصحاب الحديث، حافظًا للقرآن، يعرف شيئًا من تفسيره، ويتكلّم على المتشابه والمشكل. رحمه الله تعالى. * * *
