٤٢٤ - الشيخ الفاضل أحمد بن علي بن يوسف ابن أبي بكر بن أبي الفتح بن علي الحسيني، إمام الحنفية بـ "مكّة المشرّفة" * *.ولد سنة ثلاث وستين وستمائة. وسمع من الشريف الغرَّافي "تاريخ المدينة" بسماعه منه، ومن غيره. وأجاز له باستدعاء البرزالي شمس الدين ابن العماد الخليلي، وأبو اليمن ابن عساكر، والقطب القسطلاني، وغيرهم. وسمع منه جماعة؛ منهم: الحافظ الغرَّافي، قرأ عليه "تاريخ المدينة" لابن النجّار. ومات في رمضان، سنة اثنتين وسبعين وسبعمائة، وقيل: في ذي القعدة، وقيل: أول سنة ثلاث وستين، وله نحو تسع وثمانين سنة. ولو كان سماعه على قدر سنه لكان مسند عصره، رحمه الله تعالى. * * *
