    ٤١٥ - الشيخ الفاضل أحمد بن علي بن محمد ابن ضوء، شهاب الدين، أبو عبد العزيز، الصفدي الأصل، المقدسي، ويعرف بابن النقيب *. ولد في ليلة الاثنين، سابع عِشْرِي رمضان، سنة إحدى وخمسين وسبعمائة. وسمع من اليافعي، وخليل بن إسحاق الداراني، وعبد المنعم بن أحمد الأنصاري، وغيرهم. وحدّث، وسمع منه الفضلاء، كابن موسى، ووصفه بالشيخ الإمام العالم. وذكره ابن حجر في "إنبائه"، فقال: أحمد بن علي بن النقيب، تقدّم في فقه الحنفية، وشارك في فنون، وكان يَؤُمّ بـ "المسجد الأقصى". مات سنة سبع عشرة وثمانمائة، رحمه الله تعالى. * * *
