    ٤١١ - الشيخ الفاضل أحمد بن علي بن غازي ابن علي بن شير التركماني *. وقال في "الجواهر": أحمد بن غازي، بإسقاط علي، والصحيح ما قلناه. قال صاحب "المنهل": هو الشيخ العلامة، شهاب الدين، المحدّث. سمع من الحافظ الضياء، وحدّث، وبرع في الفقه، والأصول، والعربية، وكتب، وجمع، ورحل، وأفتى، ودرّس. وكان كبير القدر، عظيم الشأن. انتهى. وكانت ولادته سنة اثنتين وثلاثين وستّمائة. ووفاته في ثاني عشر ربيع الأول، سنة ستّ وتسعين وستّمائة، رحمه الله تعالى. * * *
