٢٩٨ - الشيخ الفاضل أحمد بن الحسين بن سليمان بن فزارة بن عبد اللّه، قاضى القضاة، شرف الدين أبو العبّاس، المعروف بابن الكفري، الدمشقى* *. قال الولي العراقي: تفقّه، وبرع، ودرّس، وأفتى. وناب في الحكم بـ "دمشق"، ثم ولي قضاء القضاة بها، ثم تركه لولده قاضي القضاة جمال الدين.وأضرّ، وانقطع للعبادة. وكان قد تلا بالسبع، وأتقن ذلك، وسمع حديث السلفي، وحدّث، وسمع منه والدي، والهيثم، انتهى. وكانتْ وفاته سنة خمس وسبعين وسبعمائة، وله خمس وثمانون سنة. وذكره ابن حجر في "إنباء الغمر"، وأثنى عليه. * * *
