    ٢٦٤ - الشيخ الفاضل أحمد برناز، أبو العبّاس، مدرّس تركي الأصل، تونسي*. له علم بالتراجم. كان كثير الحفظ والرواية. أخذ عن علماء "تونس" و"الجزائر" و"مصر"، وعاد إلى "تونس"، يدرّس، ويصنّف. وتوفي بها. من كتبه: "الشهب المخرقة لمن ادعى الاجتهاد لولا انقطاعه من أهل المخرقة" في الأحمدية (الرقم ٤٧٤٥) بـ "تونس"، وكتاب "في تربية العبيد والصبيان"، و"حاشية على المنار"، و "حاشية على الدرة في القراءات"، و"قصيدة طويلة بائية"، نظمها في الأربعين من أصحاب الإمام الشاذلي، قال ناشر "الحلل السندسية": رثى صاحب الترجمة عدد كبير من الشعراء، وجمعت المرائي في كتاب بـ "الأحمدية" (رقم ٥٠٩٣) (¬١). توفي سنة ١١٣٨ هـ. * * *
