٢٣٧ - الشيخ الفاضل أحمد بن أحمد بن محمد بن حسب الله، ابن أبي خطوة، قاض شرعي مصري*. ولد، ونشأ في إحدى قرى "المنوفية" (¬٢).وتفقّه حنفيًا بـ "الأزهر" وبرع في المعقولات. وجعل مفتيا لديوان الأوقاف، وانتدب للمحكمة العليا. وجمع مكتبة حافلة، آلتْ إلى دار الكتب المصرية (سنة ١٩٣٠)، ومعها رسالة صغيرة بخطّه في "تأبين الشيخ محمد عبده وسيرته"، وإليه أشار حفني ناصف في "بائيته" لحافظ إبراهيم أبو خطوة وليّ وقفّاه عاصم، إلخ (¬١). توفي في سنة ١٣٢٤ هـ. * * *
