١٤٢ - الشيخ الفاضل إبراهيم بن محمد بن محمد كمال الدين بن أحمد بن حسين، برهان الدين بن حمزة الحسيني، الدمشقي *. كان محدّثا نحويا، من صدور "دمشق". وُلِدَ بها، وتعلّم، وولي بعض الأعمال، وسافر إلى "مصر"، فأخذ عن علمائها، وسافر إلى "الروم"، وولي نقابة الأشراف بـ "مصر" عام ١٠٩٣ ثم النقابة بـ "دمشق" مرّات. وبلغ عدد شيوخه ثمانين شيخا.وتوفي سنة ١١٢٠ هـ قافلا من الحجّ بمنزلة تسمّى "ذات الحج"، ودفن بها. له كتب، منها: "البيان والتعريف في أسباب ورود الحديث الشريف" جزآن، على حروف المعجم، و "حاشية على شرح الألفية لابن المُصَنِّف"، لم تكمل. * * *
