    [٢٤٢٨/ ٢٤٥٣] (س) سلمة بن سعيد البصرى. عن: ابن جُريج، ومعْمر - بإسكان العين -. وعنه: محمد بن عثمان بن أبى صفوان الثقفى - وكان خير أهل زمانه - والحُباب - بضم الحاء المهملة، ثم موحدة مخففة - الجمحي، والد الفضل. ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات"، وأسند عنه موقوفًا عن ابن جريج، قال: سألت عطاء عن الرجل يقرأ القرآن بألحان الغناء فلم ير به بأسًا.
