    ٢٢٥٩ - محمد بن محمد بن نصير أبو جعفر الصوفي: لم أجد له الآن ترجمة. "صحيح سنن أبي داود" (١/ ٢٦٤). قال الدريني: الصواب في اسمه: جعفر بن محمد بن نصير الخلدي الصوفي. من رجال الحاكم في "المستدرك"، وورد عنده (٤/ ٧٥): "أبو جعفر محمد بن نصير الخلدي". ترجمه الشيخ مقبل ﵀ في "رجال الحاكم" (١/ ٢٧٧)، وذكر ترجمته من "السير" (١٥/٥٥٨) فقال: "الخلدي، الشيخ، الإمام، القدوة، المحدث، شيخ الصوفية، أبو محمد جعفر بن محمد بن نصير بن القاسم البغدادي، كان يسكن محلة الخلد … ". ومن مصادر ترجمته: "تاريخ بغداد" (٧/ ٢٢٦)، "طبقات الصوفية" (٤٣٤)، وغيرها، وقد قال فيه الخطيب: "وكان ثقة، صادقًا، دينًا، فاضلًا".
