"الصحيحة" (٥/ ٤٤٥). قال الدريني: صوابه - واللّه أعلم - (محمد بن نوح بن عبد الله، أبو الحسن الجنديسابوري). كذا سماه الخطيب في "تاريخ بغداد" (٤/ ٥١٩ رقم ١٦٩٤ - ط الغرب)، ونعته الحافظ الذهبي في "السير" (١٥/ ٣٤ رقم ١٨): بـ "الإِمام الحافظ الثبت، أبو الحسن الجنديسابوري الفارسي نزيل بغداد"، وذكر في الرواة عنه: "عيسى بن الوزير"، وهو الراوي عنه هنا. وانظر: "الأنساب" (٣/ ٣١٨ - ٣١٩)، "تاريخ دمشق" (٥٦/ ١٣٣ رقم ٧٠٧٧)، "تذكرة الحفاظ" (٣/ ٨٢٦ - ٨٢٧)، "طبقات الحفاظ" (٣٤٤)، "تاريخ الإِسلام" (٧/ ٤٥٠).
