"صحيح سنن أبي داود" (١/ ٤٢٣). قال الدريني: ترجمه البخاري في "التاريخ الكبير" (٢/ ٢٩٦ رقم ٢٥٢٦) وسماه: "الحسن بن عبد الرحمن بن العريان أبو محمد الحارثي البصري". وكذا ابن أبي حاتم في "الجرح والتعديل" (٣/ ٢٤ رقم ١٠١)، ولم يذكرا فيه جرحًا ولا تعديلًا. وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (٨/ ١٦٨).
