    أبو مقاتل الكشي. ذكر إسماعيل بن علي الدعبلي أنه قدم بغداد وحدثهم بها عن أبي مقاتل السمرقندي، والدعبلي غير ثقة. أخبرنا هلال بن محمد بن جعفر الحفار، قال: حدثنا إسماعيل بن علي الخزاعي بواسط قال: حَدَّثَنَا أبو مقاتل الكشي ببغداد في قطيعة الربيع سنة أربع وسبعين ومائتين قدم علينا، قال: حدثنا أبو مقاتل السمرقندي، قال: حدثنا مقاتل بن حيان، قال: حدثنا الأصبغ بن نباتة، عن علي بن أبي طالب قال: لما نزلت على النبي ﷺ: ﴿فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ﴾ قال: يا جبريل ما هذه النحيرة التي أمرني بها ربي ﷿؟ قال: يا محمد، إنها ليست بنحيرة، ولكنها رفع الأيدي في الصلاة. ٧٧٢٥ -
