غالب بن هلال بن محمد بن جعفر بن سعدان بن عبد الرحمن أبو العلاء الحفار. سمع علي بن معروف بن محمد البزاز كتبت عنه، وكان سماعه صحيحا. أخبرنا غالب بن هلال الحفار في سنة تسع وأربعمِائَة، قال: حدثنا أبو الحسن علي بن معروف بالبزاز، قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن أبي داود، قال: حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مسلم المقرئ، قال: حدثنا يغنم بن سالم بن قنبر، قال: حدثنا أنس بن مالك، قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: من كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر لا يدخل الحمام إلا بمئزر. مات غالب بن هلال الحفار قبل سنة عشرين وأربعمِائَة. ٦٧٣٢ -
